The Shrimpton Couture Archives

The twin of this dress walked the runway in 1987. The photo of the runway version looks like the dress was blue but I think it's just bad lighting and it was black as well. He did not use that colour anywhere else in the collection. This dress is also held at the Met museum. If you wanted the volume in the skirt that you see on the Met photo you could fluff out the sides even more than I did. This one does have some weight to it.
